About The Hounds
Dave "Shuv" Chavoya, harmonicas and vocals, Dave has played blues harp in
Northern California since 1969. He has shared billing with The Doors,
Santana, Canned Heat,Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac and Janis Joplin.
Dave Has played alongside Charlie Musselwhite, Norton Buffalo, and the late
Paul Butterfield. Dave has played at The Sonoma County Blues Festival and
Marin County Blues Fest. He is one of the founders of The Hellhounds.
Phil Ajioka, lead and slide guitar, and vocals, was raised in Los Angeles, and
began playing professionally in the Midwest in 1972. He came to the San
Francisco Bay area in 1978, and has played with many of the regions top
bluesmen including harmonica players Dave Wellhausen, Mark Hummel,
Carlos Zialcita, and Dave Chavoya, guitarists "Mississippi" Johnny Waters,
Cool Papa, and former Muddy Waters drummer Francis Clay. Based in Cotati
CA, Phil is one of the founding members of The Hellhounds.
Allen McDaniel, drummer and rhythm master, has been a professional
musician for thirty years. He has performed in numerous venues, from
watering holes in the San Joaquin Valley to the top nightclubs in Tokyo.
Allen has played with musicians from Tower of Power, The Righteous
Brothers, Paul Winters Consort, Harvey Mandel Group, Elvin Bishop and
many more. One of Allen's passions is encouraging people to become aware
of Organ Donation programs both local and national.

Bill Wolfe, bass and vocals, Coming out of Phoenix AZ by way of Santa
Barbara CA, The Hellhound's bass player has always loved the blues and
while he has played all genres of music, Rock, Jazz, and Reggae, he has
always returned to Music's Mother. Bill's great musical sense keeps the
Hellhounds solidly grounded. His selection of instruments includes fretted
and unfretted electric bass as well as classic stand-up bass.  A big Muddy
Waters fan , Bill also counts Taj Mahal, Willie Dixon and Robert Johnson  
as major influences.
